A photo-essay by Debashish Samaddar
In the spring of 2008 my wife and I took a few short vacations. One of these was to the Pacific Coast of northern California. We flew there, stayed in a hotel, rented a car… the usual stuff whose details I no longer remember. But I do remember we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway and stopped a lot along the way. To see the ocean and its changing colors. To listen to the waves and the wind. To accept that my little pursuit of material things and “success” was insignificant.
